MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has postponed the September 2021 Physician Licensure Exam (PLE) in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan due to typhoon “Kiko”.
To quote,
The Professional Regulation Commission informs the public that the September 11, 12, 18, and 19, 2021 Physicians Licensure Examination (PLE) in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan has been POSTPONED due to typhoon “Kiko”. The PRC requests the public’s utmost understanding and cooperation as it prioritizes the safety of the examinees and examination personnel.
Meanwhile, the conduct of Physician board exam at other testing locations including Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Tacloban and Zamboanga will proceed as scheduled.
The September 2021 Physician board exams will be conducted on September 11, 12, 18 & 19, 2021 by the Board of Medicine headed by its Chairman, Dr. Clarita C. Maaño and its members, Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Rafael R. Castillo and Dr. Raquel S. Sayo.

2021 Physician Licensure Exam Schedule

Several board exams scheduled on first and second quarter of 2021 were cancelled and re-scheduled (see below) due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, there were also licensure exams that pushed through following a strict health and safety protocols imposed by the commission. Among are the board exams for Medical Technologists/ MTLE, Social Workers, Veterinarians and Physicians/ PLE.

PRC has released the schedule of board exams for the year 2021 on November 2020 through Resolution No. 1283 Series of 2020. These includes the opening of online processing, deadline of filing, target release of results, among other important announcements.
