RESULT: July 2022 Interior Designer Board Exam Passers

MANILA, Philippines – The July 2022 Interior Designer Licensure Exam results including the complete board list of passers, top 10 examinees and overall performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Interior Design in thirteen (13) working days after the last day of exams.

As announced, 266 out of 405 (65.68%) examinees successfully passed the exams.

The Interior Designer board exam was conducted on July 5-7, 2022 at testing centers located at NCR and Cebu.

The licensure exams were headed by the Board of Interior Design Chairman, Sonia Santiago-Olivares and its members, Maria Carlota D. Hilvano and Vincent Louie V. Tan.

Release of Results

The Interior Designer Licensure Exam (IDLE) results July 2022 will be released on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, according to PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021 entitled “Schedule of the Licensure Exam for the Year 2022“. However, Interior Designer board exam results may also be out earlier or later than the target release date without prior notice.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Registered Interior Designers will be held on the following date(s):

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:

• Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
• Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
• Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
• Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
• One (1) piece short brown envelope

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The verification of ratings and test results for the Interior Designer licensure exams given by PRC Board of Interior Design will be available online few working days after the posting of results.

Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.

As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.

Oath-Taking

The oath taking ceremony for the newly Licensed Interior Designers will be done online, now referred as the “e-oath”. The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and  select “e-OATH” as transaction.

Inductees are required to print “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

Interior Design Board Exams Summary (Stats)

Interior Design is one of the programs with less number of examinees being administered by PRC.

On the June 2019 Interior Designer board exams, 211 out of 320 examinees passed. Ana Bernadine De Leon Carillo from University of Santo Tomas ranked first in the exams having 86.15% followed by Noelle Samantha Centeno Bernardo from De La Salle University – College of Saint Benilde having 85.60%. Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Main Sta. Mesa was the top performing school having 91.67% overall passing rate.

During November 2018 exams, 251 out of 452 examinees passed. Kirk Cedrick Moaje from De La Salle University – College of Saint Benilde ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 86.85% followed by Gabrielle Gay Paningbatan Sayson from University of the Philippines – Diliman having 86.60%. University of the Philippines – Diliman was the lone school in the top performing schools’ list having 21 out of 23 examinees passed or 91.30% overall passing rate.
