The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) reiterated that recruitment and promotion within the Philippine National Police (PNP) remain strictly merit-based, ensuring fairness and integrity in the selection process.
According to NAPOLCOM Commissioner Ralph Calinisan, the examination goes beyond assessing knowledge, as it also measures the character and readiness of aspiring and current police personnel.

Verification of Rating
The April 2026 PNP entrance and promotional examinees (pass or failed) can refer to the NAPOLCOM official website and use the Online Verification of Ratings page to access their ratings. This usually comes a few days after the results are posted. The examinee shall provide only the application number to obtain the posted rating.
A Report of Rating (RR) will be mailed to the examinee’s mailing address, while verification can be made at the Examination Division, Personnel and Administrative Service (PAS), NAPOLCOM central office. Examinees who didn’t receive RR can request certification from the same office upon payment of 150.00 pesos.

At the same time, the PNP Promotional examinations are exclusively available to all qualified members of the PNP who meet minimum qualification standards for examination in terms of rank and eligibility.
NAPOLCOM reiterates that removing the height requirement applies only to the PNP Entrance Test, not to the PNP recruitment process.
