The Professional eligibility may also be used for clerical positions. Both eligibilities, though, cannot be used for positions involving practice of profession and those covered by special laws.
Passing the CSC exams is not the only requirement for working in the government. CSC reminded that aspirants shall meet the education, experience and training requirements needed for the position. Likewise, they will have to undergo screening process by the selection board which might include interviews, written exams, among others.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to the Commission’s examinees guide in taking Civil Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test, the target release date for the results of August 2017 CSE-PPT (Professional and Subprofessional) will be within forty one (41) days after the day of eligibility exams (on or before September 16, 2017). same
same 🙂 in the name of Lord Jesus Christ. AMEN
likewise:)
ANO PINAGLALABAN MO? HAHAHA
Yeah, now the question is, can you pass?
TAMA….
both csc and board exam were the same lang po..kung madali ang board exam, di sana lahat nakapasa.. do not under estimate ang B.E.
The truth is.. wala naman madaling exam. All you need to do is give your best shot madali man o hindi.
Ayos.
BOARD EXAM is difficult. You do not know what you were saying. We really had this 4-6 months full time review for all the lessons you learned for almost five years.
hoping for right and truthful results.. that will not only focus on the highest score of the examiner..
wish me luck…. 🙂
May GOD bless us all..
Kelan ang next exam?
Hoping for a good blessing.
hala, alam mo ba sinasabi mo?
mahirap nga talga ang csc exam s board kasi yun talaga ang field mo at may idea ka s exam mo at dapat reviewhin mo hndi kagaya s civil wala , depende kung marecall mo at isa pa s board mejo mababa ang passing grade compare s civil 80% literal
TAMA KA DYAN….
No… No.. You are all mistaken! Board Exam is way harder than than the CSC exam. Do not underestimate all the professionals out there! I, myself, had experience taking board exams twice. I put 6 months to 1 year hard work for that licensed exam. You know what, I FAILED. I passed Civil Exam and I failed the Board Exam. =)and =(
wish me luck
Math was hard for me. If it weren't for it, I'd be confident to pass.
*sigh* this waiting time is killing me.

Is this final? Were there any cases of actually passed the exam but name wasnt listed?
I am thinking the same thing.
Pano mag ask if may ganong cases nga?
Just do a verification using your examinee number
Nakakaiyak po hay sana di pa final
Kaya nga po list of passers diba? Over confidence nga naman oh. Lesson learned, don't get your hopes too high.
Congrats sa mga pumasaaaaa!!! Yeheyyy!
Final na po ba ang result? T_T
pasado na .. aiming for the top 10 nalang, charot lang po
me too. Congrats to both of us. God is good. 🙂
Sana po hnd pa Final yan. T_T
sana nga h
Final na ba yan? :'(
I saw my name in the list but i think there's a typo error about the spelling of my name. 🙁
From the list:
Montoya, Jon Ramzeus D
Correct spelling:
Montoya, Jon Ramzeuse D
I doubt it na may kapangalan po ako or almost the same name sa region namin. And if kung meron man po, i doubt it na same kami ng middle initial.
By the way, maraming salamat po! God bless us all!
Thank you Lord Jesus sa imong pag guide nako sa paglingin-lingin sa answer sheet. Bsag nidiretso rako og take sa exam na way tuon-tuon og way kaligo og panotbras nipasar gihapon ko. Salamat kaayo Lord Jesus. Ikaw man siguro ang naglingin lingin ato nga exam Lord og dili ako.
Hahahaha. Congrats sa aton, mamen!
I hope we will be part of good government. Hahha asa
Verify online using your examinee number
Need talaga ng todong review to
Failed. But okay lang may chance pa naman next year 🙂 Congrats passers!

Ok lang yan.. Maganda ka naman.. Sa akin pasado ka na.. Hehehe.. By the way, i passed in my 1st try without reviewing anything. I just rely on my stock knowledge and instinct.. Try harder next time nalang Ms.Mariel. Good luck next time..
Haha Thank you. May next time pa naman 🙂

weak
dipa narerelease yung top 10
Ok lang na madisappoint, mag feeling nega, its part of being human. Shake it off, buy or download the reviewer and be ready for next year. 🙂 Wishing you the best.
I feel you. 🙁
Same as me but may plano si god para sa mga hindi pumasa tsaka take lang ng take sa exam 🙂 2nd chances is free <3
Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing.” – Denis Waitley
wag ka ganyan,7 take ako nyan, kakapasa ko pa lng last MARCH 12, 2017(81.95%).. partida yan, hndi ako nakatulog the night b4 the exam nyan, yung mga previous exam rating ko nyan b4 ako pumasa nasa line of 6 lng, pinakamataas ko na 70%(noong una ko pang take, back in 2007 pa), guarantee to: if u deserve it, ibibigay yan ni LORD.. ipagdasal mo n lng na matangap mo ang result, my nxt time pa naman.MAYBE GOD INSTRUCT ME TO POST THIS PARA SA INYU. GOD BLESS
Haha i passed without really reviewing. Lol
Likewise… puyat pa ako kakanood ng netflix and 2 hrs lang tulog ko then pasado… NCR pa kung saan mahigpit ung passing rate, pagod pa ako kasi maling building ang inakyatan ko for my room assignment halos 10 mins din akong pasikot sikot dun na pawis na pawis at sa exam may hinulaan pa akong nasa 30 items dahil kinulang sa oras… PASADO! hahaha! Thank you Lord!
Same dapat wala kang iiwang unanswered questions, tapos yong mga hula mo dapat smart guesses.
Haha nakakahiya baka maaga ipass tapos bagsak. Buti nalang pasado. XD
Exams are made to test people's abilities. Every person owns a unique ability compared to the others, therefore it's not a question of whether an exam is harder than the other exam, it all depends on the examiners ability to answer the questions encoded in the questionnaires.
Mapa'B.E man yan o LET o kaya ay CSE, these exams are to test to how far can we go through our abilities. MARK it, "ABILITY", not knowledge. Because I've known numbers of persona who graduated with a highest honors like Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude and Cum Laude, yet they have failed to pass the exams. Therefore, it all depends in your ability. If you have the ability the balance your time and give it a share to study and learn, then probably you'll pass. If you'll explore things rather than sticking in your reviewer, then probably you'll pass. Because answers don't come only to what is written in the papers or books, many are from the outside.
I made it! God is good! 🙂
Board Exams are specific to a profession. For ex nursing, teaching, agriculture, engineering etc. Civil service is for those who want to enter into government service, it is not specific to a profession, you do not receive any license like the other BE, only a certificate of eligibility to enter gov't service. This is why the exam coverage is very general only. About passing rate,80% is not the determining factor, they will only select the top 11-13% of passers. Very different from BEs where results reflect actual number of passers. For ex. if LET passing rate is 75%, and 50% of examinees passed, that will be the actual result. In CS even if 50% passed 80%, the CS Commission will only select the top 12%. Check it out for yourself: CS results are the only ones that are very constant exam after exam, unlike all other BEs which differ from one exam to another.
WELL-SAID….. @ TRUTHBUSTER
Hindi po ba unfair yon? Bakit po nila nililimit? Sayang naman po yung pambayad 🙁
ciguro konti lng yung vacant positions sa government kaya limitado .
nakapasa ako sa panaginip 🙁
Tama ka😭
Better luck next time mga beshy 🙂
I made it!Thank you Lord,Prayer before and after the exam does wonders!!!
Nakapasa ako sa exam though I wasn't able to finish it, weird. I still have like 25 items unanswered nung sinabi ng proctor na 15 minutes nalang kaya shade nalang ako ng shade.
Can someone comfort me?
I badly need one. I failed. 😢😢😢 It was my first take. To be honest,I pretty did well on the exam especially in the Math & Logic portion. In English part,I am pretty sure I did well too 'coz I read the statements properly and it's also my thing. But I admit, I wasn't able to give my best shot in the last portion of the exam (around 10-15 items which covered both 'General Knowledge' & Code of Ethics, whatnot, so I applied the power of random shading. I can't focus on my daily errands now due to the results. I got so frustrated. Like something is odd with the results and I want to get over this perception that has been bothering me. 😢😢😢 In other words, I am still doubting the results. (I'm actually referring to the possibility that the list could still be partial & unofficial). What if I actually passed? Is it possible that there could still be names who actually passed but not yet included in the list? Was there an instance that the list of passers has been updated before? Please forgive me if I'm too dogmatic. First take ko pa kasi eh kaya nakaka-depressed talaga. Ang hirap tanggapin. It somehow shattered my 'self-esteem'. To those who passed, I salute you all talaga! I actually prayed hard last night, I cried so hard (hoping that there can still be miracles to happen within this crucial week). 😢😢😢 Sana ma-include pa name ko sa official list of passers (crossing my fingers) 😢😢😢😢
Take the exams again. I am sure you were good in school. I too felt I was good in Math and logic. But I was best in Filipino being the editor in the Filipino section of our school organ in high school. General knowledge is stock knowledge. This can only be acquired through reading. I thought I am not bad in English yet I was not able to answer about 20 items in the reading comprehension. I did not answer in the order the questions were presented but I prioritized from easy to hard according to my strengths and weaknesses. Thus I jump from one item to another. I luckily passed the first time I took the exams last August 6. You too will pass this type of exams. Maybe good preparation and prayers are needed. God bless.
Same us feeling kasi ginawa ko lahat ng best ko pero nagulat ako na di ako pumasa pero hindi ko rin naman masisi eh next time nalang ulit 🙂 marami pa naman araw eh 😀 sa susunod na magexam ako mas pagbubutihan kopa <3 complete list na kasi eh. malalaman nalang natin sa ratings na lalabas <3 that's all CONGRATS SA MGA NAKAPASAAA! <3
each day pass lagi kong tinitignan kung naupdate yung exam 🙁 sobrang nadisappoint ako sa sarili ko ng diko nakapasa </3 naway walang mali yung pag post naway 100% clean yung pagka asikaso
PAREHO TAYO EVERYDAY AKONG UPDATED SA RESULTS HOPING NA HINDI PA NA UPLOAD LAHAT LOL 😀 LALO NA HINDI PA NA POST ILANG PERCENT ANG LAHAT NG MGA PUMASA…. GOD KNOWS…. WHAT HAPPENS….
Hayss pero ayan na talaga yung results kailngan nalang natin tanggapin 🙂 next exam nalang ulit bumawi 🙂
I am really hoping that the results are 100% absolute, substantiated, & transparent. Because everything has its marginal error, right? Who knows? Baka possible pang madagdagan ang list of passers given the fact that there has been no yet official percentage of passers out of the total # of examinees who took the exam. Hoping for some miracles talaga (crossing my fingers) 😢😢😢 But if I really failed, then I must accept it with all my heart & soul. 😢 Perhaps, I'll just wait for the online generation of individual ratings. God bless us all.
Me too. My experienced was "Last 10 minutes" then I have 35 items left.
So true kasi To be announced pa sana walang maling yung results
JUST ACCEPT, 1 take SUBPROF(2009)-81.22%,then finally in my 7th try sa PROFESSIONAL(MARCH,2017)-81.95%. "things happen for a reason" #GODisGOOD
wohoo. kala ko di ako papasa.
Y lami!!!
atong timplahan…
Thank you Lord! I made it though I was not expecting for it…Truly unexpected!Congratulations to those who passed and Keep on trying to those who didn't make it this time…
I took the exams for the first time to test myself even if I am already a senior citizen. I bought two (2) reviewers at the NBS and answered them during my free time. I passed it maybe because I found time to review. Congratulations to those who made it and to those not in the list, practice by answering the reviewers and be serious in your preparation. God bless us.
Give it another try 🙂
all examineers should passed their exam because they didn`t graduated in college if they did not studied hard and lot`s of money had been used to our education.
QUOTA?
SANA GANUN…. BKA SURPRISE YUNG TOP NGAYUN HINDI NKA POST SA LIST OF PASSERS…. 😀
Oh well,I'll better get ready this December for the B. E.
I Made it! All praises & honor to God!
Thank You Lord!
Thank you Lord. I passed the exam on my first take not because I am intelligent. It was because of God. I neither studied and prepared myself for the exam nor prayed for a good result of the exam. I trust God. It was God who made it possible for me to pass. Thank you Lord.
amen
everything has its own purpose… may chance pa.
any tips on how to pass the exam?
I am planning to take the CSE.
I didnt review yet I pass. stock knowledge kahit 15 years ago nako graduate. Assess yourself. Better if you review. Iba pa din nagbasa at ngpractice. More chances of passing. Lalo na kung you think hindi naman ikaw yung tipo na above average sa schooling mo before. If you want to succeed, gawin lahat and make use of all the available resources.Good luck on your exam.
Review and practice. Focus more on Math and English. Wear your watch during the exam, so you could monitor your time. Above all, pray! These helped me pass the exam on my first take; I hope you too will pass.
Everyday, practice yourself with math. Read newspaper, read books. Watch news, listen to radio. Yan ang gingawa ko everyday. No need to review. Practice yourself doing those stuff i told you.
Hahaha
Thank you Lord I pass. Sabi ko if I failed ok lang, if I pass I'll be very thankful. First take and I didn't review. I just try. I graduated 15 years ago and became a full time housewife. Now I'm working in the government and making all the risk-making it happen. There's always a time for everything. Congratulations sa mga pumasa and better luck next time sa mga hindi. Be kind and humble. Pray and be thankful sa lahat ng meron po tayo.
Same to me.. 1st take sa Professional.. Advantage siguro sa akin dahil I'm a LLB Student.. But to be precise hindi ko alam bakit marami pa rin babagsak sa exam na ito, eto i felt na parang ang dali naman, in fact ang kunti pa ng Constitution Questions, kung mas marami sana i mean 90%, i could easily top it in my region.. Too bad parang 15 questions lang ng Constitution.. Anyway Congrats to you too Ma'am..
As stated: They will get only 11-12% of passers(quota) same with previous exams, maybe konti lng ang vacant positions sa government kaya siguro limited lng ang ipinasa nila..
