RESULTS: July-August 2021 NAPOLCOM PNP Entrance & Promotional Exams Passers

MANILA, Philippines – The July-August 2021 NAPOLCOM PNP entrance and promotional exams list of passers and top 10 examinees will be available at this website as soon as NAPOLCOM releases the results online approximately two (2) months after the conduct of exams.

The 2021 first schedule of NAPOLCOM exams are scheduled on July 31, 2021. The regional offices held the exams on August 1, 2021 while others announced suspension due to the threat of COVID-19 delta variant alongside imposed community quarantines.

The second schedule for the year 2021 is set on October 23, 2021.

The July 2021 NAPOLCOM PNP entrance and promotional exams were conducted at testing centers located in Makati, San Fernando (La Union), Tuguegarao, Angeles (Pampanga), Cabuyao, Calapan, Iloilo, Cebu, Tacloban, Calbayog, Pagadian, Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Koronadal, Baguio, Butuan, and Cotabato, and in the provinces of Batanes, Cavite, Quezon, Albay, Kalinga and Tawi-Tawi.

The conduct of the NAPOLCOM exams is headed by NAPOLCOM Vice Chairman and Executive Officer (VCEO) Vitaliano N. Aguirre II.

The July 2021 NAPOLCOM exams are exclusive to those PNP Entrance examinees who did not avail the Computer Assisted exams, those applicants who were able to register in the On-Line Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) for the April 26, 2020 PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations but were not processed, those processed and in the waitlist of the April 26, 2020 PNP Entrance and Promotional Exams.

Release of Results

NAPOLCOM is not yet disclosing the exact date of release of July 2021 NAPOLCOM exams results. However, based on the previous exams releases, results are normally published in two (2) months after the exams. Examinees can expect the results by September-October 2021 (estimated).

Per NAPOLCOM, the notification of results for July 2021 PNP entrance and promotional exams will be posted at NAPOLCOM Central Office located at DILG-NAPOLCOM Center, NAPOLCOM Building, EDSA corner Quezon Avenue, West Triangle Quezon City 1104 as well as at NAPOLCOM official website.

Meanwhile, official results of NAPOLCOM may also be released earlier or later than the estimated date without prior notice.

In the same licensure exams conducted last October 2019, April 2019 and October 2018 official result was out two (2) months after the conduct of exams.

Verification of Rating

The PNP entrance and promotional examinees (pass or failed) can refer to the NAPOLCOM official website and use the Online Verification of Ratings page to access their rating. This usually comes few days after the posting of results. As posted, examinee shall only provide the application number to know the rating.

A Report of Rating (RR) will be mailed to the examinee’s mailing address while the verification can be made at Examination Division, Personnel and Administrative Service (PAS), NAPOLCOM central office. The examinees who didn’t received RR can request certification from the same office upon payment of 150.00 pesos.

Coverage of Exams

The July-August 2021 PNP entrance exams covered topics including general information (comprising of the Philippine Constitution and history, Philippine law and history, criminal justice systems, current events, social awareness and value judgement), verbal reasoning (including the vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, the basic concepts and problem solving skills of quantitative reasoning) and verbal and non-verbal logical reasoning.

Renaming of NAPOLCOM PNP Entrance and Promotional Exams Titles

Beginning March 2019, NAPOLCOM has utilized the new examination titles for all examination categories. This is in pursuant to R.A 11200 or “An Act Providing for the Rank Classification in the Philippine National Police, amending for the purpose Section 28 of Republic act No. 6975, as amended, otherwise known as the Department of the Interior and Local Government Act of 1990”. This aims to modify the PNP rank classification as well as standardize how police officers are addressed.

About NAPOLCOM Exams

NAPOLCOM PNP entrance exam is open to all Filipino citizens who meet the age, height and educational requirements set forth by the commission while the PNP Promotional examinations are exclusively available to all qualified members of the PNP who meet minimum qualification standards for examination in terms of rank and eligibility.

NAPOLCOM reiterates that the removal of height requirement only applies in taking the PNP Entrance Test and not in the PNP recruitment process.

NAPOLCOM Exam Results Summary (Stats)

The previous NAPOLCOM exams were held on October 2019. During these exams 3,684 out of 34,984 (10.53%) examinees passed while 2,808 out of 11,402 (24.63%) hurdled the promotional exams.

Bherna Jeann Roxas Urayenza was the topnotcher in the PNP entrance exams (patrolman) garnering a rating of 87.64% followed by Vincent Gojoco Punay having 85.53%.

In the Police Officer category or 4th class, Narwin Lay-At Simeon ranked first having 85.63% followed by Rianne Angelie Lucero garnering 84.24%.

In the third class category or Senior Police Officer, Jason Ryan Monsion Ponlaroche was the topnotcher having 82.15% followed by Kimberly Anne Arcilla garnering 82.10%
