RESULTS: September 2021 Librarian Board Exam Passers

MANILA, Philippines (Released September 13) – The September 2021 Librarian board exam results including the complete board list of passers, top 10 examinees and overall performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board for Librarians in two (2) working days after the last day of exams.

As announced,  113 out of 237 successfully passed the exams.

The September 2021 Librarian licensure exams were also scheduled on September 2020 but later re-scheduled to due to the community quarantines brought by COVID-19 pandemic resulting to several travel restrictions.

The Librarian board exams was conducted on September 8-9, 2021 at testing centers located at the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban and Tuguegarao. The licensure exams were headed by the Board for Librarians Chairman, Yolanda C. Granda and its member, Lourdes T. David.

September 13, 2021: September 2021 Librarian board exam results are out! Congratulations to all passers!

September 10, 2021: Per PRC target dates of release of September 2021 Librarian licensure exams, the results are expected to be posted in three (3) working days after the exams. Stand by for developments.

Release of Results

Referring to the results of the previous Librarian licensure exams, taking into consideration the restrictions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and the estimated target release date stated in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the Librarian board exams results are estimated to be released in three (3) working days or longer, after the last day of board exams. Stand by from September 13-14, 2021.

PRC may also release the LLE results for September 2021 earlier or later than the estimated date without prior notice.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Librarians will be from September 29 to September 30, 2021.

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
  • One (1) piece short brown envelope

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The verification of ratings and test results for the Librarian licensure exams given by PRC Board for Librarians will be available online few working days after the posting of results.

Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.

As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

Due to the pandemic, the oathtaking ceremony for the newly licensed Librarians will be done online, now referred as the “e-oath”. The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal via and  select “e-OATH” as transaction.

Inductees are required to print “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

Librarian Board Exams Summary (Stats)

Librarian licensure exams are among the programs with average number of examinees conducted by PRC.

The previous Librarian board exams were held on September 2019 while the scheduled licensure exam in the year 2020 was postponed due to the pandemic. During these exams, 565 out of 1,024 examinees passed the exams.

Daniel Soriano Balbin Jr. from Benguet State University – La Trinidad ranked first in the exams garnering 89.75% followed by Allyana Macabulos Bermudez from University of Santo Tomas having 89.30%.

University of the Philippines Diliman was the top performing school having 100% overall passing rate followed by Benguet State University – La Trinidad garnering 91.18%.
