ROOM ASSIGNMENTS: August 2024 Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE)

CLE ROOM ASSIGNMENTS 2024 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the list of room assignments for the August 2024 Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE) a few weeks before the exams.

The August 2024 Criminology board exams will be conducted on August 1-2, 2024, at PRC testing centers located at NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Antique, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan and Occidental Mindoro.

The Board of Criminology is led by its Chairman, Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, and its members, Hon. Lani T. Palmones, and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz.

CLE Room Assignments

Examinees are advised to verify the room assignments through the links below or the notices and announcements posted on the PRC official website. Here is the list of room assignments for the August 2024 Criminology licensure exams.

Examinees shall report before 5:30 AM on the said date, as latecomers will not be admitted.

What do you bring on the day of exams?

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

  1. Notice of Admission
  2. Official Receipt
  3. Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
  4. Ball pens (black ink only)
  5. One (1) piece long brown envelope
  6. One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
  7. Horseshoe Microscope or Magnifying Glass

What to wear on examination day?

Here are the specified dress codes from PRC:

  • For male examinees, tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
  • For female examinees, tucked-in white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks

What is not allowed during board exams?

  • Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded information or formulas
  • Programmable calculators
  • Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth, and other electronic devices that may be used for communication purposes;
  • Bags of any kind

The 2024 Criminology licensure exam covered the following topics:

  • Criminal Jurisprudence, Procedure, And Evidence (criminal law book I, criminal law book II; criminal procedure, evidence, and court testimony)
  • Law Enforcement Administration (police organization and administration with police planning, industrial security administration, police patrol operations with police communication system, police intelligence, police personnel, and records management, comparative police system) 
  • Criminalistics (personal identification, police photography, forensic ballistics, questioned documents examination, polygraph – lie detection, legal medicine)
  • Crime Detection And Investigation (fundamentals of criminal investigation, traffic management, accident investigation, special crime investigation, organized crime investigation, drug education, and vice control, fire technology, and arson investigation)
  • Sociology of Crimes and Ethics (introduction to criminology and psychology of crimes, Philippine criminal justice system, ethics and values, juvenile delinquency, human behavior, and crisis management, and criminological research and statistics)
  • Correctional  Administration (institutional corrections, non-institutional corrections)
