MELE ROOM ASSIGNMENTS 2026 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the list of room assignments for the August 2026 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Exam (MELE) and Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Exam (CPMLE) a few weeks before the exams.
The August 2026 Mechanical Engineering board exams will be conducted on August 7-9, 2026, at PRC testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
The Board of Mechanical Engineering is led by its Chairman, Engr. Rodulfo L. Tablante and members, Engr. Manuel L. Paulino and Engr. Ramon F. Solis.

Examinees shall report before 5:30 AM on the said date, as latecomers will not be admitted.
What do you bring on the day of exams?
- Notice of Admission
- Official Receipt
- Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
- Ball pens (black ink only)
- One (1) piece long brown envelope
- One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
What to wear on examination day?
Here are the specified dress codes from PRC:
- For male examinees, a tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
- For female examinees, a tucked-in white blouse or shirt with a collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
What is not allowed during board exams?
- Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded information or formulas
- Programmable calculators specifically CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus
- Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, earplugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth, and other electronic devices that may be used for communication purposes;
- Bags of any kind
