ROOM ASSIGNMENTS: November 2024 Chemical Engineer Licensure Exam (ChemEng)

CHEMENG ROOM ASSIGNMENTS – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the list of room assignments for the November 2024 Chemical Engineering Licensure Exam a few days before the exams.

The November 2024 Chemical Engineering board exams will be conducted on November 20-22, 2024, at PRC testing centers located in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Rosales. The Board of Chemical Engineering is headed by its Chairman, Engr. Ofelia V. Bulaong and its members, Engr. Shirlyn B. Chua-Reyes and Engr. Cezar S. De la Cruz.

Examinees shall report before 5:30 in the morning on the said date because latecomers will not be admitted.

What to bring on the day of exams?

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

1. Notice of Admission
2. Official Receipt
3. Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
4. Ball pens (black ink only)
5. One (1) piece long brown envelope
6. One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
7. Non-programmable Calculators
8. One (1) clear and clean copy of a 2 x 2 colored picture (preferably on a white background) with a name tag and the complete address and school written at the back of the picture. Put the picture in a letter envelope with your name legibly written outside.

What to wear on examination day?

Here are the specified dress codes from PRC:

• For male examinees, a white polo shirt with a collar (without any seal, logo, or mark), decent pants or slacks
• For female examinees, a white blouse or shirt with a collar (without any seal, logo, or mark), decent pants or slacks

What are not allowed during board exams?

• Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded information or formulas
• Programmable calculators and calculators with embedded functions.
• Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth, and other electronic devices that may be used for communication purposes
• Bags of any kind

PRC added that they will not be responsible for any lost personal belongings.

• Physical and Chemical Principles (general inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemical engineering, and environmental engineering)
• Chemical Engineering Principles (chemical engineering calculations, chemical engineering thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, unit operations, chemical process industries, plant design and instrumentation, and process control)
