Social Worker

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,723 out of 5,880 (46.31%) passed the Social Worker board exams. The licensure exams were administered in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this August 2019.

Social Work board exam results were released on August 29, 2019 or three (3) working days after the exams.

The members of the board for Social Workers who gave the exams are Lorna C. Gabad, Chairman and Mary Ofelia L. Endaya, Rosetta G. Palma, Fe J. Sinsona and Ely B. Acosta, members.

Lilibeth Francisco Torres from Wesleyan University – Philippines Cabanatuan City topped the ME exams garnering a rating of 83.60% followed by Xhelxea Francesca Avesruz Lerios from Leyte Normal University having 83.20%. See the details here.

Here is the list of top performing schools in the August 2019 Social Worker Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058(C) series of 2017.

Ranking in the first two (2) places are University of the Philippines – Diliman having 100% passing rate and Leyte Normal University having 97.96%. Complete list here.



To all successful ME and CPM examinees, the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line from September 23 to September 25, 2019.

The instructions on initial registration will found at PRC official website.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • Downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 
  • Notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps 
  • 1 piece short brown envelope.  

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
