The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the top-performing schools and a summary of school performance in the August 2026 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Exams (MELE) and Certified Plant Mechanics (CPMLE) four (4) working days after the last day of exams.
The Mechanical Engineering Board Exam was held on August 7, 8, and 9, 2026, at testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
The Board of Mechanical Engineering is composed of its Chairman, Engr. Rodulfo L. Tablante, and members Engr. Manuel L. Paulino and Engr. Ramon F. Solis.

Performance of Schools
The performance of schools for August 2026 Mechanical Engineering and Certified Plant Mechanic licensure exams in alphabetical order, as per R.A. 8981, otherwise known as the PRC Modernization Act of 2000, Section 7 (m), or “to monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation.”

Release of Results
Based on the PRC’s official 2026 examination schedule, the results of the August 2026 Mechanical Engineer and Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examinations are scheduled for release on August 12, 2026, or three working days after the final day of examinations. PRC 2026 Schedule of Examinations
However, the release of the Mechanical Engineering Board Exam results may occur earlier or later than the target date without prior notice.
During the August 2025 examinations, results were released after four working days. Meanwhile, the February 2026 MELE results were released after three working days.

Schedule of Registration
The schedule for the online registration of successful examinees for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be posted here once announced by the PRC.
- Date(s) of Registration: Starting October 15, 2026
Successful examinees are advised to register through the official PRC online services website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and prepare the following requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
- Downloaded and completed Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Two passport-sized ID photos with a white background and complete name tag
- Two sets of documentary stamps
- One short brown envelope
PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must personally complete their registration and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Rating
The online verification of ratings and test results for the August 2026 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination will be available within a few working days after the results are released.
Examinees may check their ratings through the PRC Verification of Rating page.
To verify their ratings, examinees must provide the following information:
- Examination name
- Examination date
- Application number
- First name
- Last name
- Date of birth
Oath-Taking
The date and venue of the oath-taking ceremony for the new Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics will be announced after the results are released.
Successful examinees who wish to attend the face-to-face mass oath-taking must register through https://online.prc.gov.ph/ no later than 12:00 noon on the day before the scheduled ceremony.
Those who cannot attend the mass oath-taking may participate in an online oath-taking or request a special oath-taking.
For online oath-taking, passers must schedule an appointment via the PRC’s online portal and select “e-OATH” as the transaction type. Registration normally closes five calendar days before the online oath-taking date.
Inductees must print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form, which is available through the PRC Online Services website.
After taking their oath, successful examinees may proceed with initial registration by scheduling another online appointment.
