NLE TOP SCHOOLS 2026—The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will announce the summary performance of schools and the list of top-performing schools in the August 2026 Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) upon the release of the results.

The Nursing board exams are scheduled on August 29-30, 2026, at PRC testing centers located in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cabanatuan, Cauayan, Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Ilocos Sur, Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Tagbilaran (Bohol), and Urdaneta (Pangasinan).

Important Update: PRC announced the cancellation of the August 29-30, 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination in Region III, covering San Fernando, Pampanga, Cabanatuan, and Nueva Ecija testing centers, due to regionwide flooding. The examination for affected examinees has been rescheduled to September 10-11, 2026.

Performance of Schools

The performance of schools for the August 2026 NLE will be listed in alphabetical order pursuant to R.A. 8981, otherwise known as the PRC Modernization Act of 2000, Section 7 (m), which mandates the Commission “to monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation.”

Previous NLE Top-Performing Schools

In the February 2026 PNLE, the top-performing schools were determined based on PRC’s criteria for schools with 100 or more examinees and at least an 85% passing percentage. Trinity University of Asia ranked second with a 99.73% passing rate.

Note: The table follows the PRC category for schools with 100 or more examinees and at least an 85% passing percentage, where applicable. Multiple schools may share the No. 1 position when they obtain the same passing percentage.

Release of Results

According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 series of 2025, the target release date for the August 2026 Nurse Licensure Examination results is September 18, 2026.

However, the release of the Nursing Board Exam results may vary and may occur earlier or later than the target date.

For comparison, the February 2026 PNLE results were released on March 6, 2026, five (5) working days after the last day of examinations. A total of 3,611 out of 8,162 examinees successfully passed.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule for online appointments to obtain the new RNs’ Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be announced after the release of the August 2026 NLE results.

PRC advises successful examinees to register online through the official website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. Follow the instructions for online registration and prepare the following requirements:

  1. Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
  2. Completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
  3. Two (2) passport-sized ID photos on a white background, each with a complete name tag
  4. Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
  5. One (1) short brown envelope

PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must complete their registration in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The Nurse Board exam ratings and test results can be verified online after the results are posted.

Successful candidates can visit the official PRC website and utilize the Verification Page to check their ratings in the board examination.

As outlined, a passing candidate should provide the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

The schedule of the oath-taking ceremonies for the successful examinees of the August 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination will be announced by PRC after the release of results.

All passers interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 PM on the day before the date of oath-taking. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.

Those who cannot attend the mass oath-taking may opt to attend the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking. Once confirmed, the schedule will be posted on the official website.

Passers may schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as the transaction.

The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the online oath-taking day. Inductees must print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.

After the oath-taking, the inductees shall proceed with the Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
