VLE RESULTS: March 2022 Veterinary Licensure Exam Passers

MANILA, Philippines – The March 2022 Veterinary Medicine/ Veterinarian Licensure Exam results including the complete board list of passers, top 10 examinees and overall performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Veterinary Medicine in two (2) working days after the last day of exams.

As announced, 288 out of 607 successfully passed the exams.

The March 2022 Veterinarian board exam was conducted on March 29-31, 2022 at several testing centers located at NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Legaspi and Tuguegarao.

The licensure exams were headed by the Board of Veterinary Medicine Chairman, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth D. Callanta and its member, Dr. Maximino M. Montenegro.

VLE March 2022 Updates

March 2, 2022: March 2022 Veterinary Medicine/ Veterinarian Licensure Exam (VLE) results are expected to be released by March 4-5, 2022. However, it may also be released later than the target without notice. Stand by for developments.

Release of Results

As per PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021 entitled “Schedule of the Licensure Exam for the Year 2022“, the March 2022 VLE results will be released on or before April 5, 2022.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Veterinarians will be announced by PRC along with official results.

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
  • One (1) piece short brown envelope

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The verification of ratings and test results for the veterinarian licensure exams given by PRC Board of veterinary medicine will be available online few working days after the posting of results.

Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.

As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

Due to the pandemic, the oathtaking ceremony for the newly licensed veterinarians will be done online, now referred as the “e-oath”. The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and  select “e-OATH” as transaction.

Inductees are required to print “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

Veterinarian Board Exams Summary (Stats)

Veterinarian board exam is one of the programs with less number of examinees conducted by PRC.

In the most recent veterinarian licensure exams held on August 2021, 276 out of 720 (38.33%) examinees passed. Gabriel Gonzaga Comota III from University of the Philippines – Los Baños ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 85.36 followed by Carmela Marie Bongco Lizares from University of the Philippines – Los Baños having 84.52.

During February 2021 exams, 292 out of 696 (41.95%) examinees passed. Jerard Angelo Ramos Rayala from Central Luzon State University ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 86.22% rating followed by Keighley Shayne Ycaza Wee-Ebol from University of the Philippines Los Baños having 85.80%. University of the Philippines Los Baños was the only university in the top performing schools’ list having 92.45% overall passing rate.
