#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions on November 10, 2017 (Friday) due to Bagyong Salome

MANILA, Philippines – Class and work suspensions on November 10, 2017 (Friday) are announced at certain areas by Local Government Units (LGUs) due to inclement weather conditions brought by Tropical Depression “Salome”. As of 4:00 AM, below is the list of areas with class suspensions on Friday, November 10, 2017.


  • Caloocan – All levels (public and private)
  • Las Piñas – All levels (public and private)
  • Makati – preschool to senior high school (public and private)
  • Malabon – All levels (public and private)
  • Mandaluyong – All levels (public and private)
  • Manila – All levels (public and private)
  • Marikina – All levels (public and private)
  • Muntinlupa – All levels (public and private)
  • Navotas – All levels (public and private)
  • Parañaque – All levels (public and private)
  • Pasay – All levels (public and private)
  • Pasig – preschool to senior high school (public and private)
  • Pateros – All levels (public and private)
  • Quezon City – All levels (public and private)
  • San Juan – All levels (public and private)
  • Taguig – All levels (public and private)
  • Valenzuela – All levels (public and private)

According to PAGASA weather update issued at: 4:00 PM today, 09 November 2017,

At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression “SALOME”was estimated based on all available data at 65km Southwest of Pili, Camarines Sur(13.1N, 122.9E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 90 km/h. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 25 km/h.

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, and the provinces of Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon will experience occasional rains with gusty winds due to Tropical Depression “Salome”.

Visayas and the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, Zamboanga Peninsula and the provinces of Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to outer cloudiness of TD “Salome”.

The Rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
