#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions on September 5, 2017 (Tuesday)

MANILA, Philippines – Class and work suspensions on September 5, 2017 (Tuesday) are announced at certain areas by Local Government Units (LGUs) due to inclement weather conditions brought by “Bagyong Kiko”.

As of 5:30 AM, below is the list of areas with class suspensions on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.


  • ParaƱaque City (Afternoon Classes in Public and Private) – All Levels


  • Cagayan – Preschool to Senior High School (Public and Private)


  • To be updated soon as schools announced class/work suspensions

According to PAGASA weather update issued at: 4:00 AM today, 05 September 2017,

At 3:00 amtoday, Tropical Depression “KIKO” was estimated based on all available data at 355 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.7N, 125.4E)with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 65 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 15 kph.

Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience rains with gusty winds with possible flash floods over low-lying areas and landslides over mountainous areas. Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Abra, Kalinga Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains with thunderstorms with possible flash floods over low-lying areas and landslides over mountainous areas

In Metro Manila, rest of Luzon and Western Visayas, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains with thunderstorms while the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
