MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang Palace through Proclamation Nos. 506-508 series of 2018 declared June 19 & 20, 2018 as special non-working days at selected areas and June 12 & 15, 2018 as official nationwide holidays due to celebrations of various important events.
Special non-working holidays and official holidays are specifically declared on the following dates for the celebration of respective occasions.
Regular Holiday in the country on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 for the celebration of the Independence Day
Regular Holiday in the country on Friday, June 15, 2018 for the celebration of Eid’l Fitr (officially declared)
Proclamation No. 506 – Special non-working day in the City of Laoag, Province of Ilocos Norte on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 for the celebration of its Charter Anniversary
Proclamation No. 507 – Special non-working day in the Province of Laguna on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 for the celebration of 157th Birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal, National Hero
Proclamation No. 508 – Special non-working day in the City of Lipa, Province of Batangas on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 for the celebration of its 71st Founding Anniversary
Palace said that it is but fitting and proper that the people from above-mentioned cities be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasions with appropriate ceremonies.
