MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang Palace through Proclamation Nos. 407, 408, 409, 410, 411 and 412 series of 2018 declared February 8, 12, 13, 17, 19 & 26, 2018 as special non-working days at selected areas due to celebrations of various important events.
Special non-working holidays are specifically declared on the following dates for their celebration of respective occasions.
Proclamation No. 412 – Special non-working day in the City of Zamboanga on February 26, 2018 (Monday) for the celebration of its 81st Charter Anniversary.
Proclamation No. 411 – Special non-working day in the City of Bago, Province of Negros Occidental on February 19, 2018 (Monday) for the celebration of 52nd Charter Anniversary.
Proclamation No. 410 – Special non-working day in the Municipality of Kabasalan, Province of Zamboanga Sibugay on February 17, 2018 (Saturday) for the celebration of its 81st Founding Anniversary.
Proclamation No. 409 – Special non-working day in the City of Parañaque on February 13, 2018 (Tuesday) for the celebration of its 20th Cityhood Anniversary.
Proclamation No. 408 – Special non-working day in the City of Kidapawan, Province of Cotabato on February 12, 2018 (Monday) for the celebration of its 20th Founding Anniversary.
Proclamation No. 407 – Special non-working day in the Municipality of Godod, Zamboanga del Norte on February 8, 2018 (Thursday) for the celebration of its Founding Anniversary.
Palace said that it is but fitting and proper that the people from above-mentioned cities be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasions with appropriate ceremonies.
