MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang Palace through Proclamation Nos. 422, 424 and 425 series of 2018 declared March 2 & 7, 2018 as special non-working days at selected areas due to celebrations of various important events.
Special non-working holidays are specifically declared on the following dates for their celebration of respective occasions.
Proclamation No. 425 – Special non-working day in the City of Samal, Davao del Norte on March 7, 2018 (Wednesday) for the celebration of 20th Founding Anniversary of the Island Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte.
Proclamation No. 424 – Special non-working day in the Province of Basilan on March 7, 2018 (Wednesday) for the celebration of its 44th Founding Anniversary.
Proclamation No. 422 – Special non-working day in the Province of La Union on March 2, 2018 (Friday) for the celebration of its 168th Founding Anniversary.
Palace said that it is but fitting and proper that the people from above-mentioned cities be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasions with appropriate ceremonies.
