LIST OF PASSERS: April 2016 NAPOLCOM Exam Results for Entrance and Promotional

MANILA, Philippines (Update) – The results and ‘official list of passers’ for the April 2016 NAPOLCOM PNP entrance and Promotional exam were released more than 2 months after the exams.The lists will consist of passers from PO1, Police Officers, Senior Police Officers, Police Inspectors, Senior Police Officers and Superintendent.

The examination was administered by NAPOLCOM on April 24, 2016 at designated testing centers nationwide. A total 42, 848 examinees took the examination. Mel Senen S. Sarmiento, the Interior and Local Government Secretary and NAPOLCOM chairman said that 23,175 took the PNP entrance exam while 19,673 are distributed to promotional test categories.

Below are the full results of the April 2016 NAPOLCOM Examination

Specifically, the examination covers the qualifying tests for Police Officer 1 (PO1), and promotional exams for Police Officer 2 (PO2), Police Officer 3 (PO3), Senior Police Officer 1 (SPO1), Senior Police Officer 2 (SPO2), Senior Police Officer 3 (SPO3), Senior Police Officer 4 (SPO4), Police Inspector for Inspector and Senior Inspector and Police Superintendent for Chief Inspector and Superintendent.

Release date of April 2016 NAPOLCOM PNP Entrance and Promotional Exam Results


As referred to previous results released by NAPOLCOM, examinees can
expect that the April 2016 NAPOLCOM exams will be released 2-3 months
after the examination (probably by June – July 2016)

During October 2015 NAPOLCOM
exams, the results were released after three (3) months. A total of
2,600 or 18.01% out of the 14,439 examinees passed the Philippine
National Police (PNP) entrance exam while 8,259 out of 19,397 or 42.58% hurdled the promotional exams. 


Aside from NAPOLCOM website, the list of successful
examinees will also be posted at the 7th floor of NAPOLCOM Central
Office, DILG-NAPOLCOM Center, NAPOLCOM Bldg., EDSA Corner Quezon Avenue,
West Triangle, Quezon City and at all 18 NAPOLCOM Regional Offices
nationwide.

NAPOLCOM Testing Locations

The examination was administered by the commission at testing centers in Makati, San Fernando (La Union), Tuguegarao, Angeles (Pampanga), Calamba, Bacoor, Calapan, Legazpi, Iloilo, Cebu, Tacloban, Pagadian, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Mati (Davao), Koronadal, Baguio, Butuan and Cotabato and the provinces of Palawan, Romblon and Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro.

The recruitment process of the National Police Commission is part of the Resolution No. 2016-285 which aims to increase the police officers (PO1) by 21, 200 in order to improve the police to population ratio and enhance police visibility program and anti insurgency operation of PNP.

“The regular recruitment quota is intended to strengthen the Public Safety Forces (PSFs) in identified Police Regional Offices (PROs) which operate in insurgency-affected areas and to support the personnel build-up of other PROs and some of the National Operational Support Units of the PNP, such as the Special Action Force (SAF), Maritime Group (MG) and Aviation Security Group (AVSEGROUP)”

Who can Apply?

NAPOLCOM is conducting the police examinations two times a year. For 2016, it was scheduled to take place on April 2016 and October 2016.
