MANILA, Philippines – The August 2023 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Exam (SELE) results, including the complete board list of passers, top 10 examinees and overall performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Sanitary Engineering in two (2) working days after the last day of exams.
As announced, 76 out of 162 successfully passed the board exams.
The Sanitary Engineering was conducted on August 29-31, 2023, at several testing centers located at NCR, Davao and Rosales, Pangasinan.
The Board of Sanitary Engineering Chairman, Engr. Corazon Delos Reyes-Romero and its members, Engr. Graciano B. Calayan, Jr. and Engr. Anthony Jerome M. Lara headed the licensure exams.

Release of Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 1589 series of 2022, entitled “Schedule of the Licensure Exam for the Year 2023“, the August 2023 sanitary engineer licensure exam results will be released on September 4, 2023. We advise everyone to bookmark this page and follow us on our social media channels for the freshest updates on SELE results 2023.
Meanwhile, the PRC may also release the results earlier or later than the estimated date without prior notice.
Schedule of Registration
The schedule of online appointments for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Sanitary Engineers will be held on the following date(s).

Initial registrants are advised to register online via the PRC official website https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos on a white background with a complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
- One (1) piece short brown envelope
PRC added that successful examinees should personally register and sign in to the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Rating
The verification of ratings and test results for the Sanitary Engineers licensure exams given by the PRC Board of Sanitary Engineering will be available online a few working days after posting results.
Successful takers can refer to the PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.
As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name, and the birth date.
Oath-Taking Ceremonies
All successful examinees interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 NN of the day before the date of the oath-taking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance.
Further, inductees shall bring ANY of the following on the day of the oath-taking:
- Vaccination Card
- Negative RT-PCR results took within 48 hours before the oath-taking
Inductees are advised to register and confirm their attendance in the regions where they took their licensure examination and intend to register as professionals.

Sanitary Engineering Board Exams Summary (Stats)
Sanitary Engineer licensure exam is one of the programs with fewer examinees conducted by PRC.
In the most recent SELE held on January 2023, 198 out of 318 examinees passed. Juslin Philip Sanchez Pulanco ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 86.38% followed by Ben Serafin Rillon Melchor from Mapua University – Manila having 86.38%. National University Manila was the top-performing school, having 90.91% overall passing rate.
During August 2022 SELE, 67 out of 189 examinees passed the exams. Mapua University Manila was the lone school in the top performing schools’ list with an 83.33% overall passing rate. Meanwhile, no topnotchers were recorded.
On January 2022 exams, 89 out of 177 hurdled the exams. Marc Noblen Guzman De La Cruz from Mapua University Manila ranked first in the exams garnering 83.80% followed by Robert Jacob Landicho Tolentino from National University – Manila having 83.43%. Mapua University – Manila was the top-performing school having 94.44% overall passing rate.
On August 2021 exams, 112 out of 189 examinees passed. Delwin Tan Yu from National University – Manila ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 83.87% followed by Raheemah Acosta Gomez from Mapua University – Manila having 82.30%. Batangas State University – Alangilan was the top-performing school having an overall passing rate of 84.31%.
