2023 PRC Board Exam Schedule (Date of Exams, Opening & Deadline of Filing)

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will release the PRC Board Licensure examination schedule for the year 2023 in 2-3 months before the end of the 2022.

The schedule of LET, CPALE, CELE, CLE, NLE, MTLE, PLE, SWLE, PT-OT, VLE, ECE-ECT, REE-RME, RadTech, MELE, ALE, among other board exams will be published through a PRC Resolution entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for the Year 2023”. This includes the date of exams, testing venue(s)/location(s), opening of online processing, deadline of applications and target release of results.

Filling of Application

The conduct of the Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) shall be scheduled in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 2017-1034, Republic Act No. 8981 and Executive Order No. 835.

“Filing of applications, including the submissions of all the required and supporting documents at the Regional Offices and Offsite Service Centers shall be within the period indicated in the schedule. The deadline for filing of application is final and shall be strictly implemented; hence, no extension shall be entertained or considered, except when deadlines fall on legal or regular holidays and non-working holidays. In the said case, the deadline shall be automatically moved onto the immediately succeeding working day.”

PRC said that “No changes in the schedule shall be made without prior approval of the Commission. The Professional Regulatory Boards are further advised that their duties and responsibilities pertaining to the conduct of the licensure examinations shall take precedence over all their other functions.”

Things to prepare during exams

You may also want to see in advance these basic requirements in taking the exams:

  1. Official Receipt of payment of application for examination
  2. One (1) piece Long Transparent White Plastic Envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
  3. One (1) piece long size brown envelope
  4. Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
  5. Ball pens (black ink only)
  6. Health Forms (Pursuant to Joint Administrative Order No. 01 (s 2021)
  7. Negative RT-PCR Test Results (if applicable), or Certificate of Quarantine or copy of the Complete Vaccination Card for fully vaccinated examinees to be submitted to the proctor on the examination day.

    I hope the PRC will release the examination schedule for next year immediately this year so we can start preparing ourselves if we will review already or work temporarily because it’s really hard to decide if the exam schedule is not decided yet. Thank you for your consideration.
