LIST OF PASSERS: September 2018 LET Results Teachers Board Exam (Elementary, Secondary)

The September 2018 Board Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) are administered by PRC Board of Professional Teachers headed by its Chairman, Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Vice Chairman Dr. Paz I. Lucido and its members, Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy on September 30, 2018 at PRC testing centers located in Manila, Baguio, Bacolod, Batanes, Cagayan de Oro, Catarman, Northern Samar, Cebu, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, Pangasinan, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Pagadian, Zamboanga and additional testing locations at Boac, Marinduque; Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro; Kidapawan, Cotabato; Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro; Masbate City; Odiongan, Romblon; Puerto Princesa City, Palawan; and Virac, Catanduanes. RELEASE DATE OF RESULTS

According to the Commission’s Resolution No. 2017-1068 entitled "Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2018", the target release date of September 2018 LET result will be on December 4, 2018 (Tuesday) or forty four (44) working days after the board exams.

The number of working days is computed with respect to declared holidays in November 2018 particularly the additional special non-working day on November 1, 2018 (Thursday) or "All Saints' Day" and on November 2, 2018 (Friday) or "All Souls' Day".

However, PRC may also release the LET official results earlier or later than the stipulated date without prior notice. Just keep tuning-in at at this article for timely updates.

On the most recent LET conducted March 2018, results were out after forty (40) working days. On September 2017, results were released after forty three (43) working days. On March 2017, results were out after forty (40) working days. During September 2016 and September 2015 LET, results were out after forty eight (48) working days while forty one (41) working days on March 2016.

REGISTRATION DATE & REQUIREMENTS

The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be announced by PRC.

PRC is strictly implementing the online registration system for all passers effective March 30, 2016. Initial registrants are advised to register online via http://online1.prc.gov.ph/, an online application and registration portal of PRC.

Here are the registration requirements:
  • Notice of Admission (NOA) - for identification purposes
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Passport-sized ID Photos in white background and with complete name tag (2 pieces)
  • Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
  • Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)
PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

  • English - Study and Thinking Skills, Writing in the Discipline, Speech and Oral Communication, Philippine Literature and Master Works of the World 
  • Filipino – Komunikasyon sa Akademikong Pilipino, Pagbasa at Pagsulat sa Panananaliksik at Masining na Pagpapahayag 
  • Mathematics – Fundamentals of Math, Plane Geometry, Elementary Algebra and Statistics and Probability 
  • Science – Biological Science - General Biology, Physical Science with Earth Science 
  • Social Sciences – Philippine Government New Constitution with Human Rights, Philippine History, Basic Economics, Taxation, Agrarian Reform, Society, Culture with Family Planning; Rizal and other Heroes, Philosophy of Man, Arts, General Psychology and Information and Communication Technology 
Professional Education (ProfEd)
  • Teaching Profession, Social Dimensions of Education 
  • Principles of Teaching, Educational Technology and Curriculum Development 
  • Facilitating Learning, Child and Adolescent Development 
  • Assessment of Student Learning, Developmental Reading 
  • Field Study and Practice Teaching 
Specialized and concrete subjects were covered in the examinations for the field of specialization specifically in English, Filipino, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Social Studies and Social Sciences, Values Education, MAPEH, Agriculture and Fishery Arts and Technology and Livelihood Education.

To pass the board exam for teachers, PRC said that an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.

PREVIOUS LPT EXAMS

LET is currently the program with most number of examinees being administered by the Professional Regulation Commission.

On the most recent LET conducted March 2018, 13,774 elementary teachers out of 58,323 examinees (23.62%) and 22,936 secondary teachers out of 76,673 examinees (29.91%) successfully passed.

Kier Araula Baugbog from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela ranked first in the secondary level exams, garnering 92.40% rating followed by Arvin Sune Marasigan from University of the Philippines (UP) Manila having 92.20%. John Michael Tagayon Dela Paz from UP Diliman clinched the top spot having 88.80% rating followed by Mary Angeline Lagasca Cabal also from the same university having 88.60%. Complete list of top 10 examinees for elementary level are posted here.

UP Diliman ranked first in the top performing schools' list (secondary level) having 98.55% overall passing rate followed by University of Santo Tomas (UST) garnering 91.80%. Complete list of schools' performance for elementary and secondary levels are itemized here.

On September 2017 LET, 21,198 elementary teachers out of 80,509 examinees (26.33%) and 49,626 secondary teachers out of 107,020 examinees (46.37%) successfully passed the exams. UST was the top performing school in elementary level having 113 out of 106 examinees passed or an overall passing rate of 93.81%. University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) ranked first in the secondary level having 98.33% or 59 out of 60 examinees passed. Rhoy Autentico Omega from University of Mindanao - Davao City ranked first in the LET Secondary level exams garnering 93.80% rating followed by Brian Monpon Ba-An also from the same school having 92.60%. Complete list of topnotchers for secondary level is posted here.

Mary Clarence Gepes Madero from West Visayas State University - La Paz ranked first in the exams garnering an average 88.80% rating. Complete list of topnotchers for elementary level is posted here.

During March 2017 LET, 5,600 elementary teachers out of 53,915 examinees (10.39%) and 18,482 secondary teachers out of 72,584 examinees (25.46%) successfully passed.
